Wonderland Summer Camp Program 2015
June 15-August 21, 2015*

Mad Science Camp 1 (June 15-19)
Offered by Mad Science, this week will be chock full of fun and learning on topics such as Lights Color Action, Magnificent Magnets, Optical Illusions, Fantastic Flyers, and Under Pressure.

Out of this World (June 22-26)
Students will “go to” outer space this week as we learn about the planets, stars, and our solar system. This week will include a field trip to the De Anza College Planetarium to see the Magic Tree House on June 26th.

Camp, Hike and Run for Fun (June 29-July 2**; July 3 is a holiday and the school will be closed)
This week we will be actively explore our environment with nature hikes and setting up camp. Students will have fun with arts and crafts using materials from nature. On July 2nd, we will have a family BBQ at the school.

International Cooking Fun (July 6-10)
Join us for a week of international cooking fun. Students will make creative recipes from around the world and we will have a special tour of the bakery, Le Boulanger Mountain View***, on July 8th.

Jump for Summer (July 13-17)
Offered by Jump Bunch, counselors will provide a daily 45-minute sports and fitness class to our afterschool students to encourage healthy habits, and improve coordination and confidence.

Creative Dramatics (July 20-24)
Students will create dramatic plays that will be performed for our preschool classes. On July 24th we will go to Children’s Discovery Museum in downtown San Jose to further explore our creative spirit.

Mad Science Camp 2 (July 27-31)
Offered by Mad Science, this week students will learn all about animals, bugs, kitchen chemistry, movie effects, and the science of toys.

Let’s Create (August 3-7)
This week, we tap into our inner artist as we create homemade paper and develop clay sculptures to explore the world of famous artists like Van Gogh, Matisse, Renoir, and many more. An art teacher will provide students with special art activities.

Photography and Scrapbooking (August 10-14)
Let’s learn how to take great photos of our friends and the world around us. Students will also learn how to make a treasured scrapbook of memories.

*Field trips will have additional fees for drivers and admission. The schedule is subject to change.
**Week 3 is a 4-day week, Monday-Thursday, because of the holiday.
***For the Le Boulanger field trip, children must be 6 years old to participate.

We currently have a wait list for our Preschool Program and expect openings in summer and fall 2015. Admissions are rolling, and the status of our wait list is changing regularly so please call us for more information. We are now accepting applications for our Afterschool Program and Summer Camp 2015 Program.
